A Family Tradition

Four Siblings. One Table. Endless Pizza.
We’ve been doing things our way since Grandma Angelina first perfected her sauce in a small kitchen in Sarconi, Italy. And that spirit hasn’t changed a bit. Today, four Barro siblings carry on her legacy across 50+ locations in Arizona and Texas, serving our neighbors the same secret-recipe pizza our family has been making for generations. Every pie that comes out of our oven is a little bit history, a little bit heart, and a whole lot of flavor.
How We Got Here
Grandma Angelina Barro is born in the small Italian village of Sarconi
Angelina makes her way to Chicago.
Our first family restaurant opens its doors in Chicago, and the Barro name officially enters the restaurant business.
Angelina heads west with her son John, opening a location in Southern California. Angelo joins in 1976, and the family starts to grow.
Angelo brings us to the desert, opening our first Arizona location at Alma School Rd. & Guadalupe Rd. in Mesa.
We open our second location at 7th St. & Coral Gables Dr., still owned and operated by Mike Barro to this day.
Our third location opens at Brown Rd. & Gilbert Rd., still proudly owned by Bruce Barro today.
We launch the Doran Barro Holiday Hunger Fight, donating 100% of sales on the second Tuesday of December to St. Mary's Food Bank.
We partner with the Arizona Cancer Foundation for Children, giving back to Arizona families facing pediatric cancer every June.
Opened our first location in Texas!
50+ locations, four Barro siblings still at the helm, and the same love for our communities that started it all.
