BHARTIARTL Stock Summary · August 2026
Management described a quarter of broad-based growth, disciplined cash generation and a steadily strengthening strategic position, while acknowledging that heavy investment would continue to weigh on near-term spending. Consolidated revenue, EBITDA and operating cash flow all rose, and leverage improved further, even as elevated capex kept operating free cash flow under scrutiny; management also pointed to recent rating upgrades as validation of capital discipline. Africa was framed as the group’s central growth engine, with the region continuing to outperform, annualized EBITDA above Rs.35,000 crores, and the Airtel Money business scaling quickly with quarterly revenue above $400 million and 26% constant-currency growth. In India, mobile momentum remained strong, supported by record postpaid additions and better smartphone data mix, while management said there was still substantial room for ARPU expansion without an immediate tariff increase. At the same time, home growth was being redirected toward fiber after early FWA economics proved weaker, and B2B was shifting toward a higher digital mix. Management guided to continued heavy investment in data centers, AI and cloud, with annual capex around the $4 billion level, while near-term growth remained tied to execution across these priorities.
