The balancing function seems subpar and the app is so confusing/unclear as to what's actually going on that I sought out another unit to try on this pack (110Ahr LiFePO4). The BMS needs to be woken up via a button press on the bluetooth/WiFi module if it has sat for too many hours...which makes me feel like it just tagged on there and not properly integrated. My no-name BMS systems have no such need for a wake intervention (and don't have standby battery draw that is significant). If I had got this for free, I'd probably find a use for it somewhere but having paid money for it, I'll send it back. Also note that the connector for an external UART/RS485 screen is the smaller version and won't connect to the screen's native connector if you have a straight-across cable.
