Physics — NEET Topic Wise Previous Year Questions
All chapters of Class 11 and Class 12 Physics from which NTA has asked questions in past NEET UG papers are listed below with direct links to solutions.
💡 Expert Tip: Physics in NEET contributes 45 questions out of 200. Mechanics (Kinematics, Laws of Motion, Work-Energy, Rotational Motion) and Electrodynamics (Electrostatics, Current Electricity, Magnetic Effect) together account for nearly 60% of Physics questions every year. Prioritise these chapters first.

Chemistry — NEET Topic Wise Previous Year Questions
All chapters of Class 11 and Class 12 Chemistry from which NTA has asked questions in past NEET UG papers are listed below.
💡 Expert Tip: Chemistry is NEET's highest-scoring subject for most students. Organic Chemistry (GOC, Isomerism, Carbonyl Compounds, Carboxylic Acids) and Physical Chemistry (Mole Concept, Equilibrium, Electrochemistry) together carry 50–55% of Chemistry marks. Do not neglect Inorganic — P-block and Coordination Compounds are reliable score boosters.

Biology — NEET Topic Wise Previous Year Questions
All chapters of Class 11 and Class 12 Biology, from which NTA has asked questions in past NEET UG papers, are listed below. Biology carries 100 questions in NEET — the highest of any subject — making it the most important section for your score.
💡 Expert Tip: Biology is where NEET is won or lost. Genetics, Cell Biology, Plant Physiology, and Human Physiology together form the backbone of Biology PYQs. Students who score 340+ in Biology almost always reach the 600+ mark overall. Use these topic-wise PYQs to find your weak chapters and fix them before the exam.
How to Use NEET Topic-Wise PYQs Effectively
Simply collecting links is not a strategy. Here is how to get maximum value from topic-wise previous year practice:
Step 1 — Study the chapter first. Complete the NCERT chapter and your notes before opening the PYQ set. Attempting questions on unfamiliar concepts wastes time.
Step 2 — Attempt all questions without looking at solutions. Write your answers. Time yourself. Treat each topic set like a mini-exam.
Step 3 — Analyse every wrong answer. Don't just note the correct answer — understand why your answer was wrong. Was it a concept gap, a reading error, or a calculation mistake? Each error type needs a different fix.
Step 4 — Revisit the chapter for any gaps you find. If more than 30% of a chapter's PYQs are wrong, go back to the NCERT before moving on.
Step 5 — Repeat high-weightage chapters. Genetics, Organic Chemistry, and Mechanics appear in NEET every year with 5–8 questions each. Solve their PYQ sets at least twice.

Frequently Asked Questions
Find answers to common questions.
Biology carries 100 questions in NEET UG — 50 from Botany and 50 from Zoology — out of a total of 200 questions. It is the highest-weightage subject in NEET and the primary differentiator between scores of 550 and 700+. Students must not treat Biology as secondary to Physics or Chemistry.
Mechanics (Kinematics, Laws of Motion, Work-Energy, Rotational Motion, Gravitation) and Electrodynamics (Electrostatics, Current Electricity, Magnetic Effect, EMI) together account for nearly 60% of NEET Physics questions. Ray Optics, Modern Physics, and Thermodynamics are also consistently high-yield chapters.
Topic-wise PYQs are essential but should be paired with full-paper practice. Solve topic-wise sets chapter by chapter during your preparation phase to identify weak areas. Then attempt full NEET previous year papers and mock tests in the final 2–3 months to build exam stamina and time management.
Solve at least the last 10 years of NEET UG papers — ideally 2013 to 2024. NTA repeats concepts (not exact questions) frequently, and students who solve 10+ years of papers recognise question patterns instantly during the exam. This alone can save 15–20 minutes on exam day.
NCERT is the foundation, and approximately 80–85% of NEET Biology questions are directly from NCERT text, diagrams, and examples. After mastering NCERT, use topic-wise PYQs to test your retention. Reference books like Trueman's or DC Pandey's Biology are useful only after the NCERT is thoroughly completed.
From Physical Chemistry: Mole Concept, Chemical Equilibrium, Electrochemistry, and Chemical Kinetics. From Organic: GOC, Isomerism, Carbonyl Compounds, and Carboxylic Acids. From Inorganic: P-block Elements, Coordination Compounds, and D-F block. These chapters collectively account for 70%+ of NEET Chemistry marks.
