And as long as we are talking beer: Mid 1950s promo card for Cuban beer, this one signed by Valdes. Joe Louis shilling for Canadian Ace beer. The company was long a front for organized crime and was trying to go legit when this was issued in the 1950s. __________________ Looking for top quality cards at a discount. The painted Cubs train is a one of a kind painted for me by Boyd's Glass in Cambridge Ohio. I visited their operation one year and saw the artist painting. Here are a few more. Apologies as the last 2 are rotated despite my best efforts. 1) Creighton woodcut without Creighton! At some point, there was another woodcut in Creighton's place (pretty sure it was Roger Connor) but seller at the time accidentally peeled it off. I do have the correct version and it's much nicer. 2) N173 collage of Baltimore BBC. 3) I always liked these items and perhaps came from a fellow board member. They are heavy. Feels like it should be in a bar or man cave if I ever get permission.
