Brother iPrint&Scan for PC/Mac provides access to printing, scanning and workflow functionality. Click here for instructions on how to download and install the Brother iPrint&Scan for your Windows or Macintosh computer. You'll need to save your file as a PDF so that multiple pages are combined into a single document. 1. Open Brother iPrint&Scan : - Windows Users: Double-click on (Brother iPrint&Scan) . - Macintosh Users: Browse to Go → Applications → Brother iPrint&Scan . 2. The program will search for your machine. If your machine is not automatically found, make sure that it is turned on and connected either to the computer or network (depending on your machine's specifications). You may click Select your Machine to search again.Choose the USB tab or Network tab based on how your machine is connected. 3. Load your document on the scanner. 4. Click Scan . 5. From the 2-sided dropdown, choose On with the desired binding method. 6. Configure any other desired scan settings. Click All Settings for additional settings. The available settings will vary based on your machine's specifications. 7. Click Scan . 8. Once the scan is complete, the results will appear. - Click Add Pages , if you want to scan additional pages, and follow the instructions.

- (Windows Users Only) If you want to rotate a document, hover your mouse over the scan's thumbnail and use the rotate arrows that appear. - You can use to change the display size of the scanned thumbnails. 9. Choose one of the following options to complete the scan: Save to PC - Saves the file to your computer a. Configure the available options. b. To save multiple pages into a single file, be sure to select a .PDF "File Type". c. Click Save . Click Settings to configure additional file type options, which will vary based on the selected file type. To change the destination folder for your saved scans, click Select folder . For PDF documents, you may click Settings , and configure the type of PDF file (e.g. Searchable PDF, Secure PDF, etc.) Scan to Cloud Service - Uploads the file to a cloud account a. From the desired Cloud Service, click Sign In . b. Follow the onscreen instructions to sign into your desired service. Click Settings to configure additional file type options, which will vary based on the selected file type. To save the document into an editable format (OCR), choose Text or RTF as the "File Type". For PDF documents, you may click Settings , and configure the type of PDF file (e.g. Searchable PDF, Secure PDF, etc.) c. Click Save . Open in Application - Opens in another application a. Configure the available options. b. To save multiple pages into a single file, be sure to select a .PDF "File Type". c. Click Open .
