A playlist is a collection of videos. Anybody can make playlists and share them, and friends can add videos to your playlist . You can go to the You tab to view all of your playlists. You can also manage your playlists in YouTube Studio . Subscribe to the YouTube viewers channel for the latest news, updates and tips. To find your playlists, go to the guide and click You . Create and manage a YouTube playlist on your desktop Create a playlist from a video or Short To create a playlist from a video: Go to the watch page of a video that you want in the playlist. Click More Save Create new playlist Enter a name for the playlist. Use the box to select your playlist's privacy setting. If it's private, only you can view the playlist. To create a playlist from a Short: Go to the watch page of a Short that you want in the playlist. Click More Save Create new playlist Enter a name for the playlist. Use the box to select your playlist's privacy setting. If it's private, only you can view the playlist. Manage a playlist Save content to a playlist Go to the watch page of a video or Short that you want in the playlist. Click More Save Select a playlist, such as Watch Later, or a playlist that you've already created. A message will pop up at the bottom of your screen confirming which playlist the video was added to. Select the playlist that you'd like to edit in the Guide. Click Edit by the section that you'd like to change. Filter a playlist by video type Select the playlist that you'd like to edit in the Guide. Choose the chip with the type of content that you want to view in your playlist: All: Displays all content saved to the playlist. Shorts: Displays Shorts saved to the playlist. This feature is only available on computers. Videos: Displays long-form videos saved to the playlist. All: Displays all content saved to the playlist. Shorts: Displays Shorts saved to the playlist. This feature is only available on computers. Videos: Displays long-form videos saved to the playlist. Reorder a playlist To reorder videos: Open the playlist Drag a video up or down the playlist. To temporarily reorder videos: On the watch page's playlist panel, drag a video up or down the playlist. Note: This feature isn't available for playlists that only contain YouTube Shorts. Delete a playlist Go to one of your playlists. Select Delete playlist . Confirm that you want to delete your playlist by selecting Delete . After you delete a playlist, the playlist URL and title will no longer be visible or searchable in YouTube Analytics.
