Teachers recommend this ESL grammar activity because it provides immediate reinforcement. The game is not designed to teach these points from scratch, but rather to give students a place to practice and reinforce what they have learned in class. It is particularly helpful for Cambridge A1 Starters and A2 Key preparation, where mastering subject-verb agreement and pronouns is essential.
Project the game and have the class shout out the correct word bubbles to pop, or set specific maps as homework to track progress on different grammar points. For more focused practice on specific tenses, try our Past Tense Game or the Future Tense Game . If you want to work on just vocabulary, check out Fast English .
