The 2026 Aichi-Nagoya Games will be the next big event in the sports world following the 2020 Tokyo Olympic and Paralympic Games. It is a very meaningful event for all of Japan, as it brings a chance to further deepen growing exchange within Asia.
Concept of the Aichi-Nagoya Games
Aichi Prefecture and Nagoya City have established five concepts when forming their hosting plan.

In addition, we will prepare a stage where athletes can give their best performances by taking their opinions into consideration in future planning and management of the Games.

Making full use of state-of-the-art technology Demonstrating our potential as the “manufacturing capital,” we will introduce the latest technology in a variety of areas including event management, transportation, and safety measures to provide athletes, Games stakeholders, and spectators comfortable and safe environments for staying and taking part in the events. We are also considering new ways for event spectators to enjoy sports using state-of-the-art technology.
