Our local chapters are run by friends and colleagues. Our "Robins" are largely students and young working professionals — everyone does this in their free time. The lesser fortunate sections we serve include homeless families, orphanages, patients from public hospitals, and old age homes. Really simple — beat global hunger and bring out the best in people around the world. A world where no one sleeps hungry. The idea is to create self-sustained chapters across the world who will look after their local community. And in the process, inspire people around us to give back to those who need it most. What We've Been Up To Global Presence 12 Countries • One Mission Citizens First → Mission Next → Robins Last On the army's first night of distribution, we realized that helping the less fortunate may feel good personally, but feeding 50 odd people at night, once a week would not create any real difference in a country where millions are starving. Hunger is an acute problem. We needed to reach out to more people, more restaurants, and more cities — our deadline being yesterday.

32 Cities Launched 2M Meals Served Modeled on Portugal's Re-Food Program, the Robin Hood Army started in Delhi in Aug '14 under a flyover in Hauz Khas. Through social media, passionate new recruits joined every week. Finding firm ground: 159 Cities Launched 28M Meals Served Undertook our most ambitious project — #Mission1Million, mobilizing media houses, corporates and artists to serve 1.32 million meals to the underserved on 15th August. Scaling and sustaining: 406 Cities Launched 158M Meals Served Helped communities battle COVID thru #Mission30, serving 23.2 million meals over 6 weeks across 8 countries.
