Appropriate roles : Global admin The Microsoft Partner Agreement provides Microsoft partners with a unified, digitally accepted partner agreement. It has a core set of perpetual terms. These terms help Microsoft, partners, and customers support data privacy and security. They also promote compliance and encourage sound business practices. All Cloud Solution Provider (CSP) program partners (including indirect providers, indirect resellers, and direct-bill partners) should accept the Microsoft Partner Agreement online in Partner Center. Direct-bill and indirect provider partners who operate in the Microsoft Cloud for US Government can also accept the MPA from within Partner Center. To continue to participate in the CSP program, you must first sign the Microsoft Partner Agreement. If you haven't signed the agreement, you receive reminders from Partner Center that you can easily sign the agreement from within Partner Center. The MPA must be signed once in every CSP region where your company does CSP business. What this means for partners You don't need to take action in Partner Center. By continuing to participate in the CSP program after the MPA effective date, you're considered to have accepted the updated MPA. Continued participation includes maintaining CSP enrollment, authorization, or transacting CSP business. When implicit acceptance applies Implicit acceptance applies when: Microsoft has provided advance notice of the MPA update and effective date, and Your country or region doesn't require explicit acceptance of the updated MPA. When explicit acceptance is required In certain countries or regions, partners are required to explicitly accept or acknowledge the MPA due to regulatory or legal requirements. When this applies, Partner Center will prompt you to take action before you can continue CSP participation. Partner Center visibility When implicit acceptance applies, the MPA may appear as active in Partner Center without an acceptance action displayed. Except for Direct Bill and Distributor partners in France, the updated MPA automatically takes effect on December 1, 2026. No action, signature, or acknowledgment by partners is required. Partners may also choose to accept the updated MPA early in Partner Center . If accepted prior to this date, the updated MPA will take effect at the time of acceptance. Verify that you accepted the MPA Only the Global admin in your company can accept the MPA. If you aren't the Global admin, you'll need to ask your Global admin to verify the MPA.
